AI Usage & Transparency Policy

This AI Usage & Transparency Policy explains how artificial intelligence ("AI") features are used within Intervu.dev ("Intervu", "we", "our", or "the Service").

Intervu provides AI-powered mock interview experiences designed to help users practice technical interviews and improve communication and problem-solving skills.

1. How AI Is Used

Intervu uses artificial intelligence systems to power features including:

  • Simulated interview conversations
  • Interview question generation
  • Speech and text analysis
  • Performance feedback and suggestions
  • Coding discussion and evaluation assistance
  • Voice interaction and avatar responses

AI systems analyze user inputs such as text, voice responses, and coding submissions in order to generate interactive interview experiences.

2. Nature of AI Outputs

AI-generated responses and evaluations:

  • are probabilistic and automated;
  • may contain inaccuracies or incomplete information;
  • do not represent human judgment;
  • should be treated as practice feedback only.

Intervu does not provide professional career, hiring, or recruiting decisions.
Users remain solely responsible for interpreting and applying feedback provided by the Service.

3. No Real Hiring Evaluation

  • Intervu is a practice and learning tool only.
  • AI interviewers are simulated systems.
  • Scores or feedback are not indicators of real-world hiring outcomes.
  • Intervu is not affiliated with any employer unless explicitly stated.

4. User Input Processing

To provide AI features, the Service processes user inputs including:

  • spoken responses (if voice features are used),
  • written answers,
  • code entered during interview sessions,
  • interaction metadata necessary to operate the Service.

Processing occurs automatically through machine learning systems.

5. Model Training and Data Usage

Intervu does not use individual interview sessions to train public foundation AI models unless explicitly disclosed and permitted.

We may use aggregated or anonymized data to:

  • improve system performance,
  • enhance interview simulations,
  • detect abuse or misuse,
  • improve user experience.

No personally identifiable information is intentionally used for external model training without consent.

6. Limitations of AI Systems

AI systems may:

  • misunderstand context,
  • generate incorrect explanations,
  • provide imperfect evaluations,
  • respond inconsistently.

Users should independently verify important information.

7. Responsible Use

Users agree not to use the Service to:

  • attempt to manipulate or exploit AI systems,
  • generate harmful or unlawful content,
  • reverse engineer or probe model behavior at scale,
  • conduct automated extraction of system prompts or outputs.

8. Human Oversight

Intervu may monitor system performance and interactions to:

  • improve reliability,
  • maintain safety,
  • prevent abuse.

Monitoring is performed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy as AI features evolve. Updates will be reflected by revising the "Last updated" date above.
